Educational Opportunities for Health Care Professionals
SMH Training Center
In 2009, the American Heart Association designated Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital as an official training center for:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and
• Basic Life Support (CPR)
As a designated training center SMH can help strengthen the Chain of Survival established by the AHA in our community. The Chain of Survival is interlocking links of interventions that will improve the outcomes for victims of cardiac and respiratory emergencies and stroke.
